Another year older

God, I can't believe I'm 26 - it sounds so old! Had a lovely day though, got very spoilt - work lunch, 6 course dinner with Mart, lots of pressies and a facial/massage to treat myself! Not the same without Mum's homemade birthday cake though!

Love Kel xxx

p.s. Would love to read some of my uncle's (and parents') memories of their 26th year. Mum tells me she had a baby... whatever!

Hi Kel nice picture, but what is Mart doing? For my 26th birthday i had a 1 month old daughter, called Kelly Maree O'Keefe born at 8.07am on Saturday the 11th July 1981, weighing 7lb 4ozs and measuring 20 and half inches, in Goulburn Base hospital, to look after. Who grows more precious and beautiful every year. The best birthday present i have ever had. lots of love mum x

It was 1976 when I turned 26 years and I was living in Woids Ave Hurstville with Sue, having been married nine months. We celebrated Sue's 21st in August that year with a small family party at Miranda RSL. Later, October, I think Sue and I were planing to go to the OPSM ball one Saturday night but I unfortunately collided with a car on my bike on the way home from work, spending the next week in St George Hospital with two broken wrists and assorted leg and facial injuries. I had the next 12 weeks off work and Sue was a wonderful nurse feeding and bathing me in the early weeks. The rest of my 26th year improved with Sue and I moving to Goulburn in March 1977 and we all know what god things came to us there. love Dad

Sorry Kell it'll require a comprehensive search of my minds archives to find out what happened at 26 that would have been, 1971 Mmmm, this might take some time.
Ah! I've got it, married to Shara in 1970 I would have been domiciled in Stewart St. Paddington where we were practicing hippies, I emphasize practicing as we were never really confirmed into this cult upon who’s fringe we dwelt. No babies were expected or delivered, if that’s how they come, and this lifestyle was funded from the proceeds of two to three taxi shifts per week. Ah! The good old days.
I also am curious as to what Mart is doing but whatever it is it has done wonders for your cleavage.
By the way, I’m well aware of your intention in issuing these challenges; you’re trying to beat Alice’s hallmark eight comments. Well good luck if to you if you can inspire this slack mob but you should understand that duplications such as your mother’s don’t count
