Hi everyone

Had a very relaxing time in Portugal for 3 days while we submitted my visa application to the home office. Lisbon is a great city - a real mix of European city culture and a beachy-holiday spot.

Would definitely love to see more of the country, especially the beaches in the south, but Lisbon was a great start. The Portugese food, wine and people are all delicious!

Here's some pics.... of the main square (Praca) with St George's Castle overlooking the city (my hostel was just through the archway).... one of Lisbon's colouful trams... and the beach at Cascais (on the west coast), a traditional fishing village that's now home to lots of ritzy golf resorts.
